The people of Mahé, Seychelles, serve as custodians of the remote Aldabra atoll, accessible to few due to its fragile ecology. DF&A designed the Seychelles Islands Center to evoke Aldabra’s unique landscapes, with a façade reflecting the forces of nature. This visitor center offers an indirect experience of the atoll through immersive pavilions that capture its sights, sounds, and scents. Visitors can soar with birds, swim alongside fish, and explore the habitats of Aldabra’s iconic tortoises, creating a profound connection to this natural wonder.
